Tar Barrel

Press the "Use Helm Equipment" button to release dangerous smog clouds behind you to cripple pursuing enemies. 3 second cooldown between use. Balloon Vent

Vent gasses from your balloon to allow very rapid descent. Dodge a Pyramidion ram, or try skewering someone with a Spire? Yeah, right. Just don't forget to turn it off. Effects last for 3s after deactivation.

Range-Finder

A set of binoculars used to scope the distance to a target and spot it. Keeping a ship within line of sight while scoped will give the distance to target. Automatically spots targets when zoomed in. This is bad for 'stealth' approaches. Use the Spyglass without spotting instead for ambushes.

Q: How much faster do you need to go? A: Yes. This is a highly experimental tool gained from reverse engineering the Rushing Drift mechanism used in the Faction wars. Activate stabilizers on engines, repairing them at a rate of 40 HP/s for 20 seconds. 90s cooldown

Unleash a plume of highly caustic gases behind you to damage all ships. Be careful, as this includes allies and your own ship. Clouds last 15s 60s cooldown

Useful on guns with AOE and Shatter on secondary damage, or to reduce arming range on guns that have an arming time. Salvo Neutralizer Ability

Generate a field in the direction you are looking that will neutralize a high amount of incoming fire and prevent damage to the ship for 20 seconds, or until the shield is broken. Can not block armed mines or weapons with large area of effect. 2000 HP 30s cooldown.

Deploy an unmoving weapons platform in the direction you're looking that will target enemies. Launching directly at enemy ships or terrain will cancel the deploy. Drone will last for 45s 120s cooldown "Hail Choppy."
